Printing and Dyeing
We use digital printing for all of our prints. Compared with conventional printing, this method reduces water consumption and energy usage. It also uses significantly less ink and minimizes wastage. For the dyeing process, we ask suppliers to use high quality dyes by brands such as Huntsman.
These eco-friendly processes are certified to meet the global Oeko-Tex® standard 100, meaning they are completely free from harmful chemicals and safe for human use.
Manufacturing
We have established close relationships with all the factories we use. As true partners, we visit them regularly to ensure their employees are being paid fairly and their working conditions are clean and safe.
Our fabric suppliers and manufacturers are audited annually by members of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), a leading alliance of companies, trade unions and NGOs that promotes respect for workers’ rights around the globe, to ensure their codes of practice comply with ETI base code at all times.
Packaging
We research and source the most sustainable materials we can find and we never use more than needed, especially when shipping.
Each Zaffre piece comes in a re-useable zip-lock travel pack, which can be used to keep wet swimwear separated in your bag, keep your essentials sand-free on the beach, or as a makeup bag.
All our hangtags are made of 100% recycled paper.
Reduce, Reuse and Recycle for a better environment and a brighter future.
